Windows Update Error 8004FF04

最近發現 Server 2008、Server 2012 執行 Windows Update 會發生 8004FF04 的錯誤，原本以為是甚麼服務卡住需要重開機才可以更新，沒想到重開機依舊無法解決，查了一下原來是 Microsoft Security Essentials 的問題。
為什麼會是 Microsoft Security Essentials 的問題呢？因為它預設是不支援 Windows Server 的，原先在安裝的時候都是透過 相容性 與 /disableoslimit 的方式安裝，所以依據 這篇文章 依據下列幾個步驟，就可以了。
- 先開啟 C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download 資料夾
- 找到一個 9MB 左右的檔案，把它改檔名改成 update.exe
- 設定相容於 Windows 7
- 使用 console 執行 update.exe 並設定參數 /disableoslimit 進行安裝
- 這樣下次再重新 windows update，就不會看到這個項目了。
